Northern Irish Costume Designer and Interpreter with high quality making skills and a soft touch for delicate work. Specialising in historical reconstruction, fabrication and prop costume with a keen interest in millinery, armour and body padding.
Most prominent skills are in textile designing with dyeing, breaking down and screen printing, as well as leatherwork and historical construction techniques. Creatively driven when designing costumes accompanied with extensive knowledge for sourcing materials in the UK and Ireland.

Graduating with 95% in all studio practice from Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts, London in Costume Interpretation helped builda wealth of experience in Film, TV, Commercials, Theatre and Opera.
Aileen has since worked in many high profile TV shows such as Bad Education, Peaky Blinders, Call the Midwife, Episodes and is currently working on Game of Thrones.
